Note on the obligation to take back packaging material

According to the Packaging Act, Section 15, Paragraph 1, Sentence 1 of the Packaging Act, we are obliged to take back the following packaging materials from end consumers free of charge:

- Transport packaging (transport packaging is packaging that facilitates the handling and transport of goods in such a way that direct contact and transport damage are avoided, and is typically not intended for distribution to the end consumer, such as pallets, large packaging, etc.)

- Sales and secondary packaging which does not typically end up as waste for private end consumers after use,

- sales and secondary packaging for which system participation is not possible due to system incompatibility according to Section 7 Paragraph 5, and

- Sales packaging of goods containing harmful substances or

- Reusable packaging (reusable packaging is packaging that is designed and intended to be reused several times after use for the same purpose and whose actual return and reuse is made possible by adequate logistics and promoted by suitable incentive systems, usually a deposit)

If appropriate packaging material is used when delivering a product, we will take it back free of charge. In this way, we ensure that the packaging material is returned to the recycling cycle. By providing information about the return options, we aim to achieve better results in the return of packaging and to ensure that we contribute to meeting the European recycling targets in accordance with EU Directive 94/62/EC. The obligation to take back packaging is limited to packaging that comes from goods that we have in our range. As an end consumer, you can return the packaging material at the place of actual handover or in the immediate vicinity. If you have any questions, please contact us. We will be happy to help you.
