Application & Technique
Proper surface preparation is essential for optimal results. The surface should be clean, dry, stable, and free of grease, oil, dust, and loose old paint. Depending on the product, light sanding or priming may also be recommended. Detailed instructions can be found on the respective product label or in the technical data sheet.
This question is difficult to answer because we cannot say whether our paint is compatible with the old paint. It is best to follow the processing instructions for our products and, if necessary, carry out a small compatibility test by applying a test coat to an inconspicuous area.
Our paints are delivered ready to use and do not need to be diluted or mixed. You can find relevant information in the product's processing instructions.
In general, we recommend applying Baufix wood stains with a brush. However, our Baufix Multispray Wood Stain was specially developed for spray guns.

Basically, Baufix products are compatible with each other and can be mixed together as a series.
We cannot accept liability for combinations with other manufacturers' products.
We recommend always testing for compatibility on a small area, or contacting our customer service if unsure. Our chat is available for this purpose.
The pigments in the soil liquid plastic sink to the bottom, so they must be stirred vigorously. Stir from bottom to top to bring the pigments to the surface.
Storage & Shelf Life
Our products should always be stored frost-free, cool, and dry. Ideally, storage temperatures should be between +10 °C and +15 °C.
After use, seal the container as airtight as possible. This way, quality and usability are preserved for as long as possible.
Pour the paint you wish to use into a separate container before painting and immediately reseal the original container. This prevents foreign objects — e.g., from the brush — from getting into the paint, and improves its shelf life.
Our products are shelf-stable for at least one year after purchase when stored dry and frost-free in unopened original containers.
On many products, the expiration date can be found on the back under "Storage."

Yes, always follow the instructions on the label and in the safety data sheet. Many of our products are water-based and low-odor, but we still recommend ensuring good ventilation and wearing protective gloves when working. If spraying, additional respiratory protection is advisable. Children and pets should be kept away during use.

Order & Shipping
Once payment is received, we’ll ship your desired products within 3–5 business days.
We usually ship your order within 24 hours. You will receive an email with your package's tracking number and a separate email with your invoice. The invoice is for your records only.
Since our order processing is fully automated, we are unfortunately unable to change or cancel your order after we have received it.

There are products that are manufactured exclusively for discounters, so we do not stock them at all and are therefore not available in our online shop.
